The website was developed with its customers and users in mind, in order to ensure best practices in terms of accessibility, performance, functionality and quality.

With the objective of building an inclusive website, where information is made available to everyone in a clear and transparent manner, every effort has been made to provide its users and customers with more accessible content and services, regardless of the type of software, hardware, network infrastructure, language, geographic location or special needs that may exist.

When producing this website, we endeavoured to overcome the various limitations and difficulties that might possibly restrict total and full access to the information and the various functionalities, namely, sight, hearing, motor, cognitive, speech, language, learning and neurological difficulties.

As such, the following standards and best practices have been promoted:

  • Content and functionalities available in various existing browsers, with a similar use and viewing experience, thereby ensuring greater usability;
  • Improvement to the times for accessing content, by using style sheets instead of tables to structure the information, resulting in less heavy content and guaranteeing an enhanced performance;
  • Content with information structured through titles and lists;
  • Clear identification of the content language;
  • Development of content based on relative and never absolute measurements, guaranteeing that they properly fit screens with different resolutions and that the items are resized, also using the browser's options.
