150 Years of Public Security (Proof)

On 2 July 1867, King Luís published a law creating the Civil Police Corps in the cities of Lisbon and Porto, making public safety a prerequisite for the existence of an organized society and laying the foundations for the creation of the modern day Public Security Police.
