INCM launches an Innovation Network

Today was Innovation Day at INCM, a day to affirm innovation as an integral part of the company’s culture, including a formal presentation of its new Innovation Network.

The new Innovation Network is based on a collaborative model, supported by an internal structure, involving working closely with the company’s different organic units and employees, organised into teams, workshops and discussion forums.

Outside the company, this Innovation Network involves a network of partners made up of universities, research centres, suppliers and customers, among other entities, between whom agreements and arrangements are established for the development of innovative projects and solutions in different areas of INCM’s activity.

With this, INCM aims to respond in an even more effective and competitive manner to demanding market conditions and to anticipate its customers’ needs, both within Portugal and internationally. The company will focus more on its organisational framework and innovation management processes to structure, industrialise and integrate the innovation network as one of the company’s strategic cornerstones, alongside quality and security.

As well as the presentation of the new Innovation Network, a talk entitled “Creativity and Innovation” was also given by Professor Luís Lages, from the Nova School of Business & Economics, and some innovative projects recently developed by INCM were presented; the Ideas Bank initiative was also featured, showcasing ideas resulting from the participation of employees from all areas of the company.
