O Essencial sobre D. Quixote presented at the Imprensa Nacional Library

The book entitled O Essencial sobre D. Quixote (Essential Don Quixote), by António Mega Ferreira, was yesterday presented by professor, author and translator Miguel Viqueira at the Imprensa Nacional Library.
Alongside the author, also present at the presentation of the work were the Chairman of INCM’s Board of Directors, Rui Carp, and the Director of the Publications Unit, Duarte Azinheira.
O Essencial sobre Dom Quixote clearly and integrally, and with indispensable context, presents a work that, according to António Mega Ferreira, “marks the birth of the European romantic period”.
The book presented yesterday is number 126 of “Essencial”, a collection that seeks to take in-depth looks at personalities and subjects of Portuguese and universal culture, discussed concisely and in an accessible and clarifying manner.
