José Gardeazabal and his work debut in poetry were yesterday object of all attentions

The work História do século vinte (History of the Twentieth Century), by José Gardeazabal, distinguished in 2015 with the INCM/Vasco Graça Moura – Poetry award, was presented yesterday in the Imprensa Nacional Library.
The presentation was attended by the author, two members of the jury of the Award, José Tolentino Mendonça and Jorge Reis-Sá, the chairman of the board of directors of INCM, Rui Carp, and the director of the company's Publications Unit, Duarte Azinheira.
The book is part of the renewed Plural collection, which was created by Vasco Graça Moura when he was part of the board of INCM, during the 1980s, which is now exclusively dedicated to poetry.
In 2016, the INCM/Vasco Graça Moura Award will distinguish unpublished works in the Essay category (within Humanities), another of the areas of activity in which Vasco Graça Moura excelled.
