The coin portraying the Inauguration of the Money Museum in silver with a proof finishing is the first commemorative collector coin to receive a new cork packaging.
It is a modern and functional packaging, made with coin enthusiasts in mind as well as the value placed on their collections, and is based on a sophisticated composite of cork, a typically Portuguese material, widely known for its physical, aesthetic and environmental qualities.
This new packaging, developed in partnership with Movecho, uses a material concept worked by the architect and designer Miguel Arruda, linking tradition with technology, and will be used for all Portuguese collection coins.
